Three new stakes, including the second stake in Puerto Rico, have been created. The other new stakes were created in Colombia and Mexico.
The Ibaque Colombia Stake, which includes the Campina, Jordan, Montealegre and Piedra Pintada 1st and 2nd wards, and the Belen and Ricaurte branches, has been created by Elder Francisco J. Vinas of the Seventy.The Ponce Puerto Rico Stake, which includes the Guayanilla, and Ponce 1st 2nd, 3rd and 4th wards, and the Adjuntas and Yauco branches, has been created by Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve.
The Zamora Mexico Stake, which includes the La Foresta, La Nueva Luneta, La Piedad, Ocotlan and Zamora Centro wards, and the Tanaquillo branch, has been created by Elder Andrew W. Peterson of the Seventy.
Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Chile, the Dominican Republic, England, Mexico and Samoa.
