Clarence and Lena Reed

Married 70 years ago at Sidney, Neb., on May 15, 1926, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He was the owner of a glass business in Sanger, Calif., and she helped with the business. He served as branch president and counselor, and in other callings. They served two stake missions and worked in French name extraction for six years. She was Relief Society president, nursery leader and librarian. He is now a home teacher and she is a visiting teacher. Members of the Sanger Ward, Fresno California East Stake. Parents of three children, they have 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

John S. and Geneva Teeples Jones

John and Geneva Jones

Married 70 years ago on May 29, 1926, in Fillmore, Utah, and sealed a year later in the Manti Temple. They lived in Holden, Utah, where he farmed until 1960. Then they moved to Las Vegas, Nev., where he worked for a dairy until retiring. He served as Young Men's president, stake missionary, and in various clerk and Melchizedek Priesthood leadership positions. She served as ward Primary president, in the stake Primary presidency, and in various Relief Society callings. She has also made many quilts. They served as ordinance workers in the St. George Temple for four years and served a full-time mission in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission. Members of the Wildwood Ward, Las Vegas Nevada Meadows Stake. Parents of six sons, they have 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
