New stakes have been created in Ecuador, and in Arizona, Hawaii and Illinois.
The Esmeraldas Ecuador San Rafael Stake, which includes the Airre Libre 1st, Los Jardines, Propicia, Quininde and Tolita wards, and the Aire Libre 2nd, El Obrero, Forestal and Paraiso branches, has been created by Elder Carl B. Pratt, an area authority.The Makakilo Hawaii Stake, which includes the Makaha, Makakilo, Nanakuli 1st and 2nd, and Waianae wards, has been created by Elder Loren C. Dunn of the Seventy.
The Springfield Illinois Stake has been created by Elder V. Dallas Merrell of the Seventy. It includes the Decatur 1st and 2nd, Jacksonville, Litchfield, and Springfield 1st and 2nd wards, and the Pittsfield branch.
The Tucson Arizona West Stake, which includes the Butterfield, Midvale, Sentinel Peak, Silverbell, Thornydale, Tucson University 3rd and Wildwood Park wards, has been created by Elder Earl C. Tingey of the Presidency of the Seventy.
Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Ecuador, and in Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Missouri and Texas.
