Married 70 years ago on Dec. 21, 1927, in the St. George Temple. They have lived in Santa Clara, Utah, all their lives where he was a cattleman, farmer. He served in the high priests group leadership and as instructor, and continues to home teach. She has been Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society president, and is a visiting teacher. They were both temple workers and served in the St. George Temple visitors center. They continue gardening and she is known for her needlework. Members of the Santa Clara 1st Ward, Santa Clara Utah Stake. Parents of seven children, they have 26 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren.
