George Carstensen
Married 70 years ago on May 25, 1927, in the Salt Lake Temple. Lived in Salt Lake City, Springville, American Fork and Logan, Utah; and in 1957 moved to Boise, Idaho, where they operated an automotive electric business until he retired at age 84. He then became active in family history research on the computer, which he continues, and often corresponds by e-mail. He served as Young Men president, and she served as Primary teacher. Both enjoyed traveling. Members of the Meridian 6th Ward, Meridian Idaho South Stake. Parents of three sons, they have six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Theodore and Edith Martineau
Married 70 years ago on April 20, 1927, in the Logan Temple. They lived in Provo, Pleasant Grove, Salt Lake City, and St. George, Utah; the Mormon colonies in Mexico; and Olympia, Wash. His employment included teaching school, running a dairy, farming and other occupations. He served as high priests group leader twice, and she served in the auxiliaries, including counselor in the Relief Society presidency. They served in the St. George Temple for many years. She enjoys cooking and quiltmaking. Members of the St. George 17th Ward. Parents of four children, they have 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Owen W. Tanner
Married 70 years ago on March 18, 1927, in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Rupert, Idaho, where he operated an auto sales and service business for 24 years. They moved to Fresno, Calif., in 1951, and bought a table grape farm and made raisins. He served as bishop, bishop's counselor, high priests group leader, and teacher. She was stake Primary president's counselor and teacher in the auxiliaries, and was a visiting teacher for nearly 60 years. They served as the first stake missionaries to the Laotians in Fresno. Members of the Fresno 7th Ward. Parents of five children, they have 23 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
