Married 70 years ago on Oct. 11, 1928, in Hyrum, Utah, and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived on a farm in Samaria, Idaho, for several years, then moved to Hyrum, Utah, where he helped operate a trucking company. He was active in Lions and she in the Lady Lions for more than 50 years. He served as an elders quorum president and as a stake seventies president. She served in the Relief Society presidency, Young Women MIA presidency and in the name extraction program. They are members of the Smithfield 7th Ward, Smithfield Utah North Stake. Parents of nine children, they have 38 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
