From small villages and big cities, wide-open countrysides and sprawling urban areas, close-knit nations and centers of international concerns came thousands of people to 10 concerts of the Tabernacle Choir. One performance, in cover photo, was in the basilica at El Escorial, a revered spot of the Catholic faith in Spain.
The tour to Europe was a time when choir members opened their mouths in music and testimony. In the end, it was hard to tell who was influenced more, the choir or those who shed tears of joy at their music.Please see articles starting on page 3.
