Location: Near intersection of Cole Harbour Road and Cumberland Dr., in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Temple presidency: Pres. E.A. John MacLennan; Alvin Neiforth, first counselor; and Charles Grant, second counselor.

Rooms: Two ordinance rooms, two sealing rooms.

Facade: White Bethel Granite.

Size: 10,400 square feet.

Construction information:

Architect: Architectural and Engineering Division of the Church and local architect L.A. Beaubien and Associates.

Contractor: Dineen Construction.

District: Dartmouth Nova Scotia Stake, Saint John New Brunswick Stake, New Glasgow District and mission branches in Newfoundland.

Schedule: Two sessions on Thursday and Friday, three sessions on Saturday.

Pertinent facts: Announced May 7, 1998; groundbreaking held Oct. 12, 1998; open house held Nov. 4-7 with more than 8,100 attending; dedicated in three sessions on Nov. 14, 1999, by President Gordon B. Hinckley.
