Pertinent Facts: Announced Aug. 11, 1998; groundbreaking held Feb. 27, 1999; open house held Dec. 3-4 and 6-7, 1999, an estimated 27,213 attended; dedicated in seven sessions Dec. 11-12 by President Gordon B. Hinckley.
