Location: Calle del Templo, No. 2, corner of Calle de la Hacienda de Pavones and Calle de la Fuente Carrant ona in the Barrio of Moratalaz.

Schedule: Opened for ordinance work on Monday, March 22, 1999.

Temple presidency: W. Clive Barney, president; Mariano Conde Martinez, first counselor; and Joseph A. Fish, second counselor.

Rooms: Four ordinance rooms and four sealing rooms.

Dimensions: 116 feet by 138 feet, 45,800 square feet.

Construction information: Built on a 3.5-acre site by JOTSA Construction Co., with local architects Arquitechoir Langdon, SA. Modern classic design with exterior in Camero marble from Italy.

District: Serves 80,000 members in 12 stakes and 28 districts in Spain, Portugal and southern France.

Pertinent Facts: Announced April 4, 1993; ground broken by President Gordon B. Hinckley June 11, 1996; open house: Feb. 20-March 13, 1999; dedication, March 19-21, 1999; temple is part of a complex that includes a stake center, missionary training center, distribution center and temple patron housing.
