Carlfred B. Broderick, 67, noted LDS author in the field of marriage and family relations, died July 27, 1999, in Cerritos, Calif. Among his books were One Flesh, One Heart and My Parents Married on a Dare. He served as a bishop, stake president and stake patriarch. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; eight children and 17 grandchildren.
Elva Killian Miller, 90, a member of the Primary General Board from 1947-1956, died July 6, 1999, in Provo, Utah. She served in the Southern States Mission from 1936-1938, and served a summer mission in 1941 at the Manti Temple.
