The Salt Lake Distribution Center Store at 1999 W. 1700 South has temporarily moved to a new location to allow for significant additions to the old facility.
The temporary location, at 3228 S. 900 West, will be used until early 2000, according to Kris Christensen, the Distribution Center manager. However, Beehive Clothing will remain open at the old site.
When construction at the 1700 South site is completed, Brother Christensen explained, the Distribution Center store will be larger as a result. "The Distribution Center, warehouse and Print Center additions will better enable us to meet the members' needs," he added.
Hours at the temporary location are Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons may also visit the distribution center in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building at 15 E. South Temple, Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
