Architect: J. Geronimo & Pontual Arquitetos Associados, and Church A&E Services.

Contractor: Hochtief do Brasil SA.

District: 39 stakes and five districts northern Brazil; 137,500 members.

Pertinent facts: Announced Jan. 13, 1995; open house, Nov. 11-Dec. 2, 2000, except Sundays Nov. 12, 19 and 26; attended by 78,386; dedicated in four sessions Dec. 15, 2000, by President Gordon B. Hinckley with 7,094 in attendance. Opened for ordinance work Dec. 16, 2000.
