Marc Dunn's outstanding season as quarterback for Ricks College earned him Offensive Player of the Year honors from the National Junior College Athletics Association.
He broke eight school records in 2000 including most passing yards in a season — 4,351, a remarkable 395.5 yards per game. He completed more than 60 percent of his passes and threw for 42 touchdowns to lead his team to an 8-3 record, a victory in the Real Dairy Bowl and a top-10 ranking.
After leading Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah, to a state championship in 1996, Dunn moved on to Ricks College. He sat out his first season as a red shirt and then served a mission to Santiago, Chile. In 1999 he was the backup quarterback.
Schools that have recruited Dunn include BYU, Arizona State and Kansas State.
