Eight new mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. Their assignments will be announced later. Here are their names and biographical information.
Neil Michael and LuAnn Hahl
Neil Michael Hahl, 52, Cincinnati 1st Ward, Cincinnati Ohio Stake; president of the Buckeye Management Co.; received a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School; born in Rahway, N.J., to Charles William and Hildegard Georgi Hahl. Married LuAnn Collins; four children. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Brigham Young University in fashion merchandising; born in Provo, Utah, to George Albert and Irene Fillmore Collins.
Del Roy and Diane Fern Jones

Del Roy Jones, 58, Memorial Ward, Katy Texas Stake; chairman and CEO of Millennial Assurance Services Inc.; received bachelor of science at University of Utah; born in Elko, Nev., to Rulen and Mae E. Ritter Jones. Married Diane Fern DeVore; five children. She attended the University of Nevada and University of Utah and received secretarial certification from Steven Hennager Business College; born to Carl Milton and Fern Lulua Warden DeVore.<.
Barbara and Lawrence Guy Lewis

Lawrence Guy Lewis, 59, Pinebrook Ward, Park City Utah Stake; adjunct math professor at University of Utah; received bachelor of science degree from the University of Utah and Ph.D. from Indiana University with post doctorate studies at CUNY Graduate Center; born in Logan, Utah, to Russell Guy and Helen Allred Lewis. Married Barbara Anderson; four children. She received bachelor's degree and gifted endorsement from the University of Utah; author and coordinator of gifted program for the Park City School District; born to Valentine Clair and Ruby Christiansen Anderson.<.
Domingos and Francisca Linhares

Domingos Savio Linhares, 42, Jaboatao Litoral Brazil Stake; Recife coordinator of operations and maintenance for the Church; received an MBA from IFSF in Portugal; born in Fortaleza, Brazil, to Antonio Olidio and Marlene Dirk Rodrigues Linhares. Married Francisca Marcia da Silva Pereira; three children. She received a degree from and was a professor at Federal University; born in Sogral, Brazil, to Antonio Mesquita and Francisca da Silva Pereira.
Carol Jean and Phil Brent Petersen

Phil Brent Petersen, 55, Butler 20th Ward, Salt Lake Butler West Stake; clinical director of Valley Mental Health; received a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and Medical Doctorate from the University of Utah; born in Tempe, Ariz., to Philip Alma and Agnes Kathleen Brimhall Petersen. Nedra Loy and Jerry Phil Peterson

Janet and Richard Carlos Rife

Richard Carlos Rife, 47, Heatheridge 2nd Ward, Orem Utah Heatheridge Stake; vice president and general counsel for Caldera Systems Inc.; received Juris Doctor and bachelor of arts degrees from Brigham Young University; born in Payson, Utah, to Carlos E. and Gloria Marian Gear Rife.
