Eight new mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. Here are their names and biographical information. New mission presidents and their assignments were announced in the March 10 issue.
Nancy H. and John K. Baird
John Knapp Baird, 51, Olympus 6th Ward, Salt Lake Olympus Stake; called to preside over the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission; employed as general counsel for Watermark Corp., graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in English and juris doctor degree; born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to John Nelson and Joy Knapp Baird. Married Nancy Hanks; five children. She earned a bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University and has worked self-employed as a writer; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marion Duff and Maxine Christensen Hanks.
Tracey B. and Ronald W. Daw

Ronald Weston Daw, 49, Homestead Ward, Murray Utah South Stake; called to preside over the New Jersey Cherry Hill Mission; employed as chairman, CEO and president of Daw Technologies; earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah; born in Murray, Utah, to John Weston and Beverly Shepherd Daw. Married Tracey Blair; six children. She studied at the University of Utah; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Tarlton Jr. and Betty Mae McDermott Blair.
Marilyn C. and William E. Fox

William E. Fox Jr., 63, White Oak Ward, Silver Spring Maryland Stake; called to preside over the Australia Brisbane Mission; self-employed as an insurance broker; studied engineering at Penn State University and the University of Louisville; born in Harrisburg, Pa., to William Elmer and Mildred Naomi Heller Fox. Married Marilyn Janice Craft; six children. She studied general education at Montgomery College; born in Binghamton, N.Y., to Kenneth Roland and Irene Elizabeth Bush Craft.
Daniel O. and Beverly C. Jensen

Daniel Otto Jensen, 48, Salmon Creek Ward, Vancouver Washington West Stake; called to preside over the Italy Padova Mission; employed as chairman of Jenkon Inc.; studied engineering at BYU and the University of Utah; born in Detroit, Mich., to H. Otto and Nancy Jean Theobald Jensen. Married Beverly Ann Church; four children. She was born in Vancouver, Wash., to Frank Edward and Mary Lou Jacob Church.

Edgardo Pitapit Paat, 45, Paranaque 4th Ward, Paranaque Philippines Stake; called to preside over the Philippines Ilagan Mission; employed as Church Educational System coordinator; earned bachelor's degree in political science at the University of the Philippines, and master's degree in education from Silliman University; born in Quezon City, Philippines, to Ernesto Pena Sr. and Florencik Lopez Pitapit Paat. Married Maria Carolina San Lorenzo Robles; four children. She earned bachelor's degree in foreign service from the University of the Philippines; born in San Jose, Batangas, Philippines, to Benigno Ozaeta and Perla Mendoza San Lorenzo Robles.

Jose Gerardo Vazquez M., 51, Independencia Ward, Mexico City Mexico Xalostoc Stake, called to preside over the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission; sales agent for Engranes of Mexico; earned bachelor's and engineering degrees; born in Mexico City, Mexico, to Santiago Ignacio and Guadalupe Melendez Martinez de Vazquez. Married Corina Elizabeth Salinas Aguilar; two children. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico, to Fernando Salinas Garza and Teresa de Jesus Aguilar Rodriguez de Salinas.
Myrna S. and Wesley M. White

Wesley Miller White, 55, Syracuse 6th Ward, Syracuse Utah West Stake; called to preside over the Florida Orlando Mission; former pilot for U.S. Air Force and currently employed as Air Force Jr. ROTC instructor; earned a master of public administration from the University of Oklahoma and bachelor's degree in communication from Brigham Young University; born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John Wesley and Effie Myrle Miller White. Married Myrna Kay Singleton; seven children. She was employed as a school teacher, and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University; born in Rexburg, Idaho, to Jesse "M" and Emma Gail Virgin Singleton.
