New temple presidents

Bruce Earl Belnap, 76, Clearwater Ward, St. Petersburg Florida Stake, called as president of the Orlando Florida Temple, succeeding President L. Blaine Vorwaller. President Belnap's wife, Phyllis Kearl Belnap, will serve as temple matron. President Belnap served as mission president and counselor, regional representative, stake president, district president and branch president. A retired General Electric technical manufacturing manager, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He was born in Ogden, Utah, to H. Earl and Emma Lou Pawschert Belnap. Sister Belnap is a former Primary, Young Women and Relief Society president, and seminary and institute teacher. She received a bachelor's degree in home economics and was born in Paris, Idaho, to Chase and Hazel Loveless Kearl.

Armin Ludwig Cziesla, 63, Neumunster Ward, Neumunster Germany Stake, called as president of the Frankfurt Germany Temple, succeeding President Karl F. Borcherding. President Cziesla's wife, Irmtraut Hanna Wolynski Cziesla, will serve as temple matron. President Cziesla served as temple president's counselor, stake president's counselor, patriarch, and district and branch president. A mechanical engineer, he is a retired production controller for HOWMEDICA. He was born in Eylau, Germany, to Gustav and Martha Schiwy Cziesla. Sister Cziesla is a former assistant to the temple matron, and district and ward Relief Society president. She was born in Neumunster, Germany, to Willy and Gerda Heitmann Wolynski.

Gordon Gene Conger, 66, Bellevue 6th Ward, Bellevue Washington Stake, called as president of the Seattle Washington Temple, succeeding President R. Paul Thompson. President Conger's wife, Myrna Shurtliff Conger, will serve as temple matron. President Conger served as an Area Authority Seventy, area president's counselor, stake president, high councilor and bishop. A retired attorney, he graduated from the University of Washington Law School. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Gene M. and Katherine Hart Conger. Sister Conger is a former seminary teacher, Young Women president, Relief Society president's counselor, and counselor in a stake Young Women presidency. She received a bachelor's degree from BYU. She was born in Overton, Nev., to Lester N. and Edna S. Shurtliff.

Grant Elggren Marsh, 78, Greenwood Village Ward, Denver Colorado Stake, called as president of the Denver Colorado Temple, succeeding President George S. Goble. President Marsh's wife, Linda Buehner Marsh, will serve as temple matron. President Marsh served as regional representative, stake president, stake president's counselor, and bishop. A retired Real Estate agent, he received an engineering degree. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marion Thirl and Mary Lenore Elggren Marsh. Sister Marsh is a temple worker and former Relief Society president's counselor and teacher, and Sunday School teacher. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Paul and Irene Williams Buehner.

L. David Muir, 72, Green Valley 14th Ward, St. George Utah Green Valley Stake, called as president of the St. George Utah Temple, succeeding President Malcolm S. Jeppsen. President Muir's wife, Nedra Hyer Muir, will serve as temple matron. President Muir, current first counselor in the St. George Utah Temple presidency, served as stake president, high councilor and stake Young Men president. Retired after a career in city and state management, he attended Stevens Henager College of Business and the University of Utah. He was born in Randolph, Utah, to Lawrence Grant and Orrie Calder Muir. Sister Muir is a former counselor to ward and stake Young Women and Relief Society presidents. She attended BYU and was born in Lewiston, Utah, to Clester Wallace and Ercille Marie Larsen Hyer.
