President George W. Bush speaks inside the Utah State Capitol a few hours before the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Games Feb. 8. For the president's visit, the Tabernacle Choir sang "Climb Every Mountain" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." While several presidents of the United STates have visited Utah, this was the first visit by a president to the building.
