New temple president

Elder Eran A. Call, 72, Edgemont 14th Ward, Provo Utah Edgemont Stake; called as president of the new Monterrey Mexico Temple, which will be dedicated April 28, 2002. President Call's wife, Katherine Groesbeck Call, will serve as temple matron. President Call, a patriarch, served in the Second Quorum of the Seventy from 1997 to 2000, and was director of the Mexico Missionary Training Center, a temple sealer, stake president's counselor and bishop. He is a retired BYU faculty member and CES director of Mexico. He was born in Colonia Dublan, Mexico, to Anson Bowen and Julie Sarah Abegg Call. Sister Call was stake and ward Primary president, ward Relief Society president, and teacher. She was born in Springville, Utah, to Earl S. and Mary Margaret Cowley.
