KOSRAE, Micronesia — The Kosrae Legislature passed a resolution Nov. 12 thanking the Church for its generous donations to the Kosrae community.
The resolution expressed "sincerest appreciation for the humanitarian donations of the Church of Jesus Christ."
Recent donations in support of Kosrae, as stated in the resolution, include: 25 sewing machines for the Girl Scouts, a computer lab at Kosrae High School, a computer for the radio station, a 40-ft. container with school supplies, volunteer dental services and supplies, two 40-ft. containers of hospital supplies, vision training for hospital staff and countless hours of volunteer time.
Governor Rensley A. Sigrah also received a copy of the resolution and has been appreciative of the "non-governmental efforts to help meet our community needs."
