BURBANK, Calif. — "The Other Side of Heaven," the commercially produced motion picture that chronicles a current General Authority's experiences in the 1950s as a missionary in Tonga, is being released on video and DVD, to be distributed by Walt Disney Home Entertainment.
The movie, based on a book of memoirs written by Elder John H. Groberg of the Seventy, was released regionally to theaters at the end of 2001 and, by April 2002, had garnered enough box-office success for a national release. (See Church News, Oct. 20, 2001, and April 6, 2002.)
The VHS and DVD versions will be in stores by April 1.
