New stake presidents

New stakes have been created in Spain, Uruguay and Washington.

The Graham Washington Stake, which includes the Eatonville 1st, Elk Plain, Firgrove, Graham, Orting, Spanaway and Sunrise wards, was created by Elder William R. Bradford of the Seventy.

The Tacuarembo Uruguay Stake, which includes the Tacuarembo 1st, 5th, 6th, Tacuarembo Lopez and Torres wards, and the Tacuarembo Ferrocarril branch, was created by Elder L. Whitney Clayton of the Seventy.

The Valencia Spain Stake, which includes the Alcoy, Catarroja, Gandia and Valencia 1st wards, and the Albacete, Benidorm and Castellon branches, was created by Elder Harold G. Hillam of the Seventy.

Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines and South Africa, and Arkansas.

GRAHAM WASHINGTON STAKE: (May 18, 2003) Created from the Puyallup Washington and the Puyallup Washington South Stakes. President — Brian Lloyd McCoy, 57, attorney; wife, Janet Louise Hareton McCoy. Counselors — Lewis Allen Tuttle Jr., 56, director of E-business at Weyerhaeuser; wife, Sharon Elaine Turner Tuttle. TACUAREMBO URUGUAY STAKE: (June 22, 2003) Created from the Tacuarembo Uruguay District. Counselors — Ramon Ferreira Rodriguez, 42, production supervisor at Frigorifico Tacuarembo; wife, Ana Maria Muoz Vega de Ferreira. VALENCIA SPAIN STAKE: (June 8, 2003) Created from the Valencia Spain and Alcoy Spain Districts, and the Elche Spain Stake.
