AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho — Randy Jensen, elders quorum president in the American Falls 3rd Ward, American Falls Idaho Stake, was named the 2004 MetLife/NASSP National Middle Level Principal of the Year. Brother Jensen, who is principal of William Thomas Middle School in American Falls, was honored Sept. 14 during a surprise ceremony at the school's gymnasium packed with students and others.
The school principal received the award for demonstrating excellence in resolving complex problems, involving the local community in the life of the school and his successes in improving the school's overall learning environment. He will receive $5,000 as part of his award.
