Exterior Finish: Stucco on concrete block.

Temple design: Modern.

Architects and contractors: Naylor Wentworth Lund Architects of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Alejandro Witt of Vina del Mar, Chile.

Contractor: RVC Engineering and Construction, of Santiago, Chile.

Project manager: David Paulsen.

Rooms: Baptistry, celestial room, two ordinance rooms, three sealing rooms.

Total floor area: Original: 14,572 square feet; remodeled: 20,831 square feet.

Dimensions: 112.5 feet by 178.6 feet. Statue of Angel Moroni stands 76 feet high.

District: Stakes in Chile plus three stakes and two districts in Argentina.

History: (Original) groundbreaking, May 30, 1981; open house, Aug. 22-Sept. 8, 1983; dedicated Sept. 15, 1983, by President Gordon B. Hinckley. (Remodeled) open house, Jan. 21-Feb. 11, excluding Monday evenings and Sundays; attendance, 62,065. Dedication in two sessions, March 12, 2006, by President Gordon B. Hinckley; dedication attendance, 29,606.
