New mission presidents

Seven more mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Assignments were announced in the March 4 issue of Church News. The new leaders are:

Fidel Alberto Coello, 43, Venezuela Maracaibo Mission; Cabudare Ward, Barquisimeto Venezuela Stake; former stake president and counselor, counselor in the Venezuela Valencia and Venezuela Maracaibo missions, bishop, high councilor and missionary in the Venezuela Caracas Mission. Coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Fidel Jose Coello Castillo and Ernestina Zambrano de Coello. Married Flor Maggaly Lastra, three children.

Sister Coello is a former stake Young Women president and counselor, ward Primary president, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency and missionary in the Venezuela Caracas Mission. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Jose Delascar Lastra Rojas and Florinda Medina Lastra.

Eleazer Salipot Collado, 44, Philippines Baguio Mission; Pasay 1st Ward, Pasay Philippines Stake; former stake president, bishop and counselor, high councilor, stake and ward clerk and missionary in the Philippines Cebu Mission. Area plant manager, Beehive Clothing. Born in Manila, Philippines, to Alejandro Filipino and Dolores Prudente Salipio Collado. Married Mylene Morillo Lim, four children.

Sister Collado is a former ward Young Women president, counselor in ward Relief Society and Primary presidencies, Relief Society and Primary teacher and ward chorister. Born in Quezon City, Philippines, to Augusto Alandy and Myrna Garcia Morillo Lim.

Ricardo Valentin Gaya, 62, Madagascar Antananarivo Mission; Noumea 2nd Ward, Noumea New Caledonia Stake; former district president, bishop and elders quorum president. Retired CFO, Societe Le Nickel. Born in Ponts de Ce, France, to Valentin Gurrera and Teresa Lanau. Married Anita Maria Gabrielle Rolland, four children.

Sister Gaya is a former stake family history center director and Relief Society teacher. Born in Noumea, New Caledonia, to Jules Octave and Gabrielle Andree Laigle Rolland.

Rene Arturo Martinez, 41, Colombia Bogota South Mission; San Miguelito 2nd Ward, San Miguelito Panama Stake; former country public affairs director, stake president and counselor, bishop and counselor, high councilor and missionary in the Costa Rica San Jose Mission. Coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, El Salvador, to Mauricio Martinez Bram and Maria Del Carmen Navas Martinez. Married Lissette Irene Quesada, one child.

Sister Martinez is a former ward Young Women and Relief Society president, seminary teacher, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, family history center director and missionary in the Costa Rica San Jose Mission. Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, to Florentino Quesada Castro and Maria De Los Angeles Quesada Gamboa.

Alexander Trinidad Mestre, 36, Venezuela Barcelona Mission; San Francisco Ward, Maracaibo Venezuela South Stake; former bishop and counselor, counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in the Venezuela Caracas Mission and missionary in the Venezuela Mission. Institute director, Church Educational System. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Armando and Luisa Elvira Montiel Mestre. Married Miriam Katiuska Andarcia, four children.

Sister Mestre is a former stake Young Women president and counselor, ward Primary and Relief Society president, Sunday School teacher and teacher improvement coordinator. Born in Caracas, Venezuela to Aristarco and Catalina Diaz Andarcia.

Abraham Eulogio Quero, 49, Venezuela Valencia Mission; San Antonio Ward, Caracas Venezuela Stake; former stake president and counselor, bishop, counselor in the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission and missionary in the Venezuela Caracas Mission. Country director, Church Educational System. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Eulogio Ramon Quero Rojas and Maria Antonia Pernalete Medina de Quero. Married Alirica Alfonsa Orono, three children.

Sister Quero is a former ward Relief Society president, counselor in a ward Primary presidency and nursery leader. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to Angel Emiro and Angela Rita Villasmil Orono.

Gerardo Jose Wilhelm, 51, Chile Vina del Mar Mission; Llanquihue Ward, Puerto Montt Chile Stake; former stake president and counselor, high councilor and counselor in the Chile Osorno Mission. Associated manager of finances, Automotriz. Born in Puerto Varas, Chile, to Aichele Helmar Karl and Edith Marta Kretschmar Held de Wilhelm. Married Silvia Emilia Caamano Venegas, three children.

Sister Wilhelm is a former stake Relief Society president and counselor, stake Young Women president, institute instructor, seminary teacher and ward Primary president. Born in Concepcion, Chile, to Basilio Segundo Caamano Segura and Guacolda Venegas Gaete de Caamano.
