Groundbreaking date set for Draper temple

The First Presidency has announced that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Draper Utah Temple will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m.

Because the temple is to be built in a small neighborhood, the temple site will not be open to the public during the ceremony. However, the groundbreaking ceremony will be broadcast to nearby stake centers to accommodate others within the new temple district who wish to attend, according to the First Presidency.

A DVD of the groundbreaking ceremony will become available for viewing following the service.
