New stake presidents

Two new stakes have been created.

Middleton Idaho Stake, which includes the Middleton 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th wards, has been created by Elder Steven E. Snow of the Seventy.

Syracuse Utah Legacy Park Stake, which includes the Centennial Park, Center, Legacy Park, Maplewood, Syracuse 2nd, Syracuse 3rd and Syracuse 11th wards, has been created by Elder Shirley D. Christensen of the Seventy.

New stakes

MIDDLETON IDAHO STAKE: (March 4, 2007) Created from the Caldwell Idaho and Caldwell Idaho North stakes. President Zachary Fay Evans, 39, Church Educational System Boise Institute associate director; wife, Melanie Ann Harris Evans. Counselors — Mark W. Peterson, 47, project manager at Hewlett Packard; wife, Marlene Tirrell Peterson. Leeren L. Walker, 62, owner of Walker Painting; wife, Beverly Ray Walker.

SYRACUSE UTAH LEGACY PARK STAKE: (March 11, 2007) Created from the Syracuse Utah South Stake. President Lyle Richard Elmore, 64, district executive at Boy Scouts of America; wife, Linda Mitton Elmore. Counselors — LeGrand William Bitter, 49, executive director at Utah Association of Special Districts; wife, Donita Jeanine Townley Bitter. Alan Forbes Thurgood, 47, president/owner of Ensign Systems; wife, Barbara Templeton Thurgood.
