Church members sustained 15 new General Authorities, to serve as members of the First and Second Quorums of the Seventy. In addition, two members of the Second Quorum of the Seventy, Elder Craig C. Christensen and Elder William R. Walker, were called to serve in the First Quorum of the Seventy. The sustainings took place Saturday morning, April 5. Profiles of the new General Authorities will be published in future editions of the Church News.

Elder Marcos A. Aidukaitis, 48, Porto Alegre, Brazil. President of the Brazil Brasilia Mission. He served as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy, Brazil South Area, from 2000 to 2005. Business owner. Married Luisa Englert, five children.
Elder Gerald Causse, 44, Paris, France. Member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy in the Europe West Area. Employed in the food industry where he has worked with several supermarket chains and food distribution companies. Married Valerie Lucienne Marie Claude Babin, five children.
Elder Lawrence E. Corbridge, 58, Sandy, Utah. Gospel doctrine teacher. Lawyer, shareholder and senior attorney at a Salt Lake City law firm. Married Jacquelyn Gayle Shamo, five children.
Elder Eduardo Gavarret, 51, Lima, Peru. Member of bishopric in Santa Cruz Ward. Served as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy, Brazil Area. General manager of a pharmaceutical company in Peru. Married Norma Beatriz Gorgoroso, three children.
Elder Carlos A. Godoy, 47, Barueri, Brazil. Member of the Seventh Quorum of the Seventy in the Brazil Area. Worked as a human resources manager before starting his own company. Married M?nica Soares Brandao, four children.
Elder James J. Hamula, 50, Mesa, Ariz. Member of the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy in the North America Southwest Area. Employed as an attorney at an Arizona law firm. Married Joyce Anderson, six children.
Elder Allan F. Packer, 59, Sandy, Utah. Member of the Young Men General Board. Employed as an in-field representative for the Church's Missionary Department. Married Terri Anne Bennett; eight children.
Elder Kevin W. Pearson, 51, Salt Lake City, Utah. President of Washington Tacoma Mission. Worked as CEO of a biomedical company. Married June Langeland, six children.
Elder Rafael E. Pino, 52, Miranda, Venezuela. Member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy in the South America North Area. Worked as a Church employee. Married Patricia Monica Villa Dassler, three children.
Elder Gary E. Stevenson, 52, Providence, Utah. Sunday School teacher. Worked as chief operating officer of a health and fitness equipment company. Married Lesa Jean Higley, four children.
Elder Jose A. Teixeira, 47, Vila Real, Portugal. President of the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission. Served as a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy, Europe West Area. Worked as an international controller for the Church. Married Maria Filomena Lopes Teles Grilo, three children.
Elder F. Michael Watson, 65, Bountiful, Utah. Temple Sealer. Secretary to the First Presidency of the Church. Married Jolene Mann, 12 children.
Elder Jorge F. Zeballos, 52, Concepcion, Chile. President of the Chile Concepcion South Mission. He served as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy, Chile Area. Worked as the manager of corporate affairs for a mining company in Chile. Married Carmen Gloria Valenzuela, five children.
