Four new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons.
Walter John Bailey III, 64, Dural Ward, Sydney Australia Greenwich Stake, called as president of the Sydney Australia Temple, succeeding President Frank H. Hewstone. President Bailey's wife, Lesley Anderson Pratt Bailey, will serve as temple matron. President Bailey, currently serving as a stake high councilor and sealer in the Sydney Australia Temple, has previously served as president of the New York New York South Mission, regional representative, area Public Affairs director, stake president, stake mission president and bishop. A retired CEO of ITP Income Tax Professionals, he was born in Marrickville, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, to Walter John II and Davidina Tarbert Bailey.
Sister Bailey, currently serving as a ward Young Women secretary, previously served with her husband as he presided over the New York New York South Mission, and as a ward Relief Society president and counselor, ward Primary president and counselor in a ward Young Women presidency. She was born in Belmore, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, to William Alick and Isobel Minnie Anderson Pratt.
John Phillip Hanks, 76, Willow Creek 3rd Ward, Sandy Utah Willow Creek Stake, called as president of the Apia Samoa Temple, succeeding President Suau'upaia K. Pe'a. President Hank's wife, Dawn Christensen Hanks, will serve as temple matron. President Hanks, currently serving as a sealer and missionary in the Freiberg Germany Temple, has previously served as president of the Samoa Apia Mission, stake president, high councilor, district president's counselor, two senior couple missions, and temple ordinance worker. A retired director in the Church Educational System, he was born in Tetonia, Idaho, to David C. and Emma Hulet Hanks.

Sister Hanks, currently serving as a missionary in the Freiberg Germany Temple, previously served with her husband as he presided over the Samoa Apia Mission, and as a senior missionary couple, stake family history consultant, and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Driggs, Idaho, to C. Elmer and Margurette Murdock Christensen.
Mac Wilford Holmes, 75, Davis 2nd Ward, Vernal Utah Uintah Stake, called as president of the Vernal Utah Temple, succeeding President Norman G. Angus. President Holmes's wife, Marian Dudley Holmes, will serve as temple matron. President Holmes, currently serving as a patriarch and a sealer in the Vernal Utah Temple, previously served as a counselor in the Vernal Utah Temple presidency. He has also served as a stake president, stake mission president, bishop and bishop's counselor. A retired telephone company supervisor, he was born in Vernal, Utah, to William Wallace Jr. and Emma Christine Olsen Holmes.

Sister Holmes, currently serving as an ordinance worker in the Vernal Utah Temple, previously served as assistant to the matron of the Vernal Utah Temple, as well as a ward Relief Society and Young Women counselor, and stake and ward Primary secretary. She was born in Jensen, Utah, to Curtis Duncan and Jessie Merle Davis Dudley.
Ronald Mickelson Morrison, 72, Lovell 1st Ward, Lovell Wyoming Stake, called as president of the Billings Montana Temple, succeeding President Robert M. Wilkes. President Morrison's wife, Beverly Taylor Morrison, will serve as temple matron. President Morrison, currently serving as a stake president, previously served as a stake family history center director, stake executive secretary, counselor in a stake mission presidency, and bishop. A public accountant, he was born in Lovell, Wyo., to Francis Elggren and Cleopatra Mickelson Morrison.

Sister Morrison, currently serving as a ward Relief Society teacher, previously served as a stake Relief Society secretary, ward Relief Society counselor, ward Primary president, teacher and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Oakland, Calif., to Keith Packer and Rhea Williams Taylor.
