Aug. 30, Sept. 2-4 — LDS actors and singers are invited to auditions for the Church-produced musical, "Savior of the World," which will be presented during the Christmas season in the Conference Center. Auditions will be held at the Bountiful Regional Center, 835 N. 400 East, North Salt Lake and at the BYU Richards Building, BYU Provo campus, room 1137. Sept. 5 — Fourteen flutists perform music by Mozart, Handel and others in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 6 — The Family History Library's next free class on FamilySearch indexing will be at noon, followed at 2 p.m. by a question and answer session for FamilySearch Indexing arbitrators and administrators. Sept. 6 — Families Making Music: The Michael and Ruth Stevens Family perform an instrumental and vocal program, 7:30 p.m., Assembly Hall on Temple Square. Concert is free.
Daily — "Joseph Smith, The Prophet of the Restoration" is presented each hour and a half from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Saturday in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building Legacy Theater.
