The First Presidency has announced the open house and dedication dates for the Draper Utah Temple.
The public open house will begin Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, and run through Saturday, March 14, except Sundays.
The temple will be dedicated March 20-22, with four sessions scheduled for each day. The Draper Utah Temple will open for ordinance work on Monday, March 23.
"We, with you, look forward to the dedication of the house of the Lord and the blessings it will be to the Saints," said a letter signed by each member of the First Presidency, President Thomas S. Monson, President Henry B. Eyring and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf.
Once dedicated, the Draper Utah Temple will become the 12th temple in operation in Utah. The Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple in South Jordan, Utah, is also under construction. Open house and dedication dates for that edifice have not been announced.
