Effective Nov. 7, the Legacy Theater in the Joseph Smith Building in Salt Lake City adjacent to Temple Square changed its standing schedule for showings of "Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration."
Previously, the film's latest showing was 9 p.m. Now, though, that late showing has been dropped and each day's final offering of the film will begin at 7:30 p.m.
"We have eliminated only the 9 p.m. showing, but we're still doing all of the others," said Cynthia Terry, assistant director of Church Building Hosting. "The first showing still starts at 9 a.m. and runs every hour and a half, so you've still got everything [else]."
Sister Terry said that more scheduling changes may be forthcoming in 2010 but are as yet pending approval. The current schedule will remain in effect at least through the holiday season.
