Three new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service soon.
Elder William W. Parmley, 73, Capitol Hill 1st Ward, Salt Lake Stake, called as president of the Sacramento California Temple, succeeding President Richard H. Winkel. President Parmley's wife, Shanna Nielsen Parmley, will serve as temple matron. President Parmley, is a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy and has served as a regional representative, stake president, stake president's counselor, high councilor and bishop. A retired chief of cardiology and professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, he was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Thomas Jennison and Martha LaVern Watts Parmley.
Sister Parmley has served as a stake and ward Young Women president, stake and ward Primary president, ward Relief Society president, seminary teacher and ward organist. She was born in Ogden, Utah, to Henry Day and Mayre Naisbitt Nielsen.
Albert Roy, 68, Glasgow Ward, Glasgow Scotland Stake, called as president of the Preston England Temple, succeeding President Arnold Jones. President Roy's wife, Aileen Fraser Ross Roy, will serve as temple matron. President Roy is a gospel doctrine teacher, Family History Center director and temple ordinance worker. He has served as president of the Canada Edmonton Mission, regional welfare agent, stake president and bishop. A retired manager of Road Services, West Dunbartonshire Council, he was born in Dundee, Scotland, to Albert and Mary Smith Ferguson Scobie Roy.

A counselor in a ward Primary presidency and temple ordinance worker, Sister Roy served with her husband as he presided over the Canada Edmonton Mission. She has also served as a stake and ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women and Primary president, gospel doctrine teacher and seminary teacher. She was born in Dundee, Scotland, to George Slidders and Charlotte Watt Fraser Morrison.
G. Farrell Young, 70, Rexburg 16th Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake, called as president of the Hermosillo Sonora Mexico Temple, succeeding President Victor M. Cerda Vital. President Young's wife, Doratha Rae Pratt Young, will serve as temple matron. President Young is a counselor in the Rexburg Idaho Temple presidency. He previously served as president of the Mexico Hermosillo Mission, as stake president, bishop, high priest group leader and on the Rexburg Idaho Temple open house and dedication committee. A retired dentist, he was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to C. Bruce and Dora Dean Young.

Sister Young is an assistant to the matron of the Rexburg Idaho Temple. She served with her husband as he presided over the Mexico Hermosillo Mission. She has also served as a ward Relief Society president and counselor, Young Women adviser, temple ordinance worker and full-time missionary. She was born in Pecos, Texas, to Harold Wilcken and Anna Hendrickson Pratt.
