The Church Missionary Department reports that missionaries are safe and accounted for in Thailand and Greece despite civil unrest in those countries.
Missionaries in the Thailand Bangkok Mission continue their missionary work as normal. Protests have been contained to a small area, which has had minimal effect on missionary work. Six missionaries serving near the area have been reassigned, and two meetinghouses near the conflict have been closed until protests subside. Elder and sister missionaries are arriving and returning home as scheduled.
All missionaries in the Greece Athens Mission are safe and are taking precautions to avoid areas of protest. They have been instructed to return to their apartments each day by 6 p.m. until protests subside.
