Served with husband when he was president of the Dominican Republic Missionary Training Center and president of the Paraguay Asuncion Mission; former member of Young Women general board, stake Relief Society president and stake Primary president; PTA president in Argentina. Married Jeffry A. Allred; parents of eight children.

Received bachelor's degree in social work from BYU; master's degree from the University of Utah; former member of Relief Society general board, ward Young Women president, Relief Society counselor, Laurel and Beehive adviser, gospel doctrine teacher, and ward activities committee chairwoman. Serves as an official with Christmas Box International, a charity focused on abused and neglected children; executive director of an international assessment center for abused and neglected children.
