Six new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service in November.
James Dunlop, 68, Palmerston North Ward, Palmerston North New Zealand Stake, called as president of the Hamilton New Zealand Temple, succeeding President Paul T. McAndrew. President Dunlop's wife, Frances Mary Gerrand Dunlop, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a temple ordinance worker and has served as an Area Seventy, regional representative, stake president, district president, patriarch and bishop. A retired scientist from AgResearch Grasslands, he was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand, to James August and Loloma Emily Palmer Dunlop.

Sister Dunlop serves as a temple ordinance worker and has served as a ward Relief Society president, ward Primary president, ward family history consultant and compassionate service leader. She was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand, to Victor Macara and May Miller Wishart Gerrand.
Pita Foliaki Hopoate, 63, Fua'amoto 1st Ward, Nuku'alofa Tonga Halaliku Stake, called as president of the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple, succeeding President Eric B. Shumway. President Hopoate's wife, Lani W. Hopoate, will serve as temple matron. He serves as acting president of the Marshall Islands Majuro Mission and has served as an Area Seventy, Area Authority, president of the Nuku'alofa Tonga Mission, regional representative, Tongan Missionary Training Center president, stake president, high councilor and bishop. A retired country director of the Church Educational System in Guam/Micronesia, he was born in Fua'amoto, Tongatapu, Tonga, to Viliami Maka-Mapeli and Ilaisaane Tomasi Hopoate.

Sister Hopoate serves with her husband as he presides over the Marshall Islands Majuro Mission, previously served with him as he presided over the Nuku'alofa Tonga Mission and over the Tongan Missionary Training Center. She has served as a stake and district Relief Society president, stake Young Women president, district Women's Auxiliary president, counselor in ward and branch Relief Society presidencies and ward Primary president. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Florentino Quicio and Lillian Hannah Woodd Alconcel.
Robert W. Lees, 67, Palo Verde Ward, Scottsdale Arizona North Stake, called as president of the Lima Peru Temple, succeeding President Carlos M. Bowman. President Lees' wife, Kay Lees, will serve as temple matron. Recently released as an Area Seventy, he has served as president of the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission, stake president, stake Young Men president and high councilor. A retired partner of Lees Mayfield and Associates, he was born in Los Angeles, Calif., to Gordon William and Melba Jensen Lees.

Sister Lees serves as a visiting teaching coordinator and served with her husband as he presided over the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission. She has also served as a counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, temple ordinance worker and Sunday School teacher. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif., to George W. and Norine L. Miles Kaller.
Geoffrey James Liddicoat, 67, Duncraig Ward, Perth Australia Warwick Stake, called as president of the Perth Australia Temple, succeeding President John A. Maile. President Liddicoat's wife, Lesley Mary Dawson Liddicoat, will serve as temple matron. He serves as high priests group leader and has served as president of the Australia Brisbane Mission, president of the New Zealand Missionary Training Center, regional representative, stake president, bishop and bishop's counselor. A retired corporate treasurer and executive of an Australian television network, he was born in Fremantle, Western Australia, to James Lawrence and Patricia Marie Sweeney Liddicoat.

Sister Liddicoat serves as a stake Primary president, served with her husband as he presided over the Australia Brisbane Mission and over the New Zealand Missionary Training Center. She has served as stake Young Women president, stake Primary president, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Relief Society president, seminary teacher and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Paisley, Scotland, to Herbert Edward and Mary Carruth Dawson.
Melvin Reed Perkins, 65, Juneau 2nd Ward, Juneau Alaska Stake, called as president of the Anchorage Alaska Temple, succeeding President Lloyd V Owen. President Perkins' wife, Sharon Anne Varni Perkins, will serve as temple matron. Recently released as an Area Seventy, he has served as stake president, district president, branch president and high councilor. Retired president/vice president of Country Lane Inc., he was born in Safford, Ariz., to Reuben Eugene and Gertrude Margaret Reed Perkins.

Sister Perkins has served as a district Relief Society president, counselor in a district Relief Society presidency, district Young Women counselor and ward Relief Society president. She was born in Albany, Calif., to Roy Joseph and Alvina Patricia Lubcke Varni.
Franklin Brent Wadsworth, 68, Fallon 2nd Ward, Fallon Nevada Stake, called as president of the Reno Nevada Temple, succeeding President Maurice S. Moyle. President Wadsworth's wife, Joyce Crook Wadsworth, will serve as temple matron. He serves as patriarch and has served as a stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, stake mission president and sealer. A retired rancher and farmer, he was born in Cedar City, Utah, to Franklin Don and Sylvia Bitner Hinckley Wadsworth.

Sister Wadsworth serves as a ward Primary pianist and has served as a stake Relief Society president, stake Primary president's counselor, ward Relief Society president and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Fallon, Nev., to Royal Don and Willmuth Witt Crook.
