Four new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency with their wives called as matrons. Three will begin service in January, while one has begun service.
Myron Glenn Child, 70, Mapleton Ward, Beaverton Oregon Stake, called as president of the Portland Oregon Temple, succeeding President R. Conrad Schultz. President Child's wife, Gearldine Margarette Tribe Child, will serve as temple matron. He now serves as a counselor in the Portland Oregon Temple Presidency and has previously served as stake president, stake president's counselor, bishop, bishop's counselor and high councilor. A retired vice president of Operations for Columbia Management, he was born in Ogden, Utah, to Mark Lynn and Netta Awilda Burton Child.

Sister Child serves as an assistant to the matron of the Portland Oregon Temple and has previously served in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Relief Society president and counselor, and ward Young Women president. She was born in Oakland, Calif., to Grant Hilding and Ona Mortensen Tribe.
Song, Pyung Jong, 64, Sinchon Ward, Seoul Korea South Stake, called as president of the Seoul Korea Temple, succeeding President Jun, Jong Chul. President Song's wife, Yang, Gye Young, will serve as temple matron. He now serves as a welfare missionary and as a temple ordinance worker in the Seoul Korea Temple. He has served as president of the Korea Busan Mission, mission president's counselor, as stake president and bishop. A retired managing director of Hanil Bank, he was born in Jeonnam, Korea, to Song, Ki Yong and Lee, Myung Soon.

Sister Yang serves as a temple ordinance worker in the Seoul Korea Temple and served with her husband when he presided over the Korea Busan Mission. She has also served as a stake and ward Relief Society president, stake Relief Society president's counselor, seminary teacher and gospel doctrine teacher. She was born in Jeonju, Korea, to Yang, Hae-uk and Oh, Young-myo.
Russell Elmer Tueller, 68, Union 1st Ward, Sandy Utah Cottonwood Creek Stake, is serving as president of the Draper Utah Temple, succeeding President Donald L. Staheli. President Tueller's wife, Christine Clayton Tueller, is serving as temple matron. Former first counselor in the Draper Utah Temple presidency, he has served as president of the Georgia Macon Mission, stake president, bishop and high councilor. A retired controller for The Boyer Co. he was born in Kansas City, Mo., to Elmer Russell and Mildred Hirschi Tueller.

Sister Tueller was an assistant to the matron of the Draper Utah Temple, has served with her husband when he presided over the Georgia Macon Mission. She has also served as a counselor and secretary in a stake Relief Society presidency, and as a ward Young Women counselor and Relief Society teacher. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Sutherland Whipple and Mavis Greer Clayton.
Barry Ronald Udall, 66, Bear Canyon Ward, Albuquerque New Mexico Stake, called as president of the Tampico Mexico Temple, succeeding President Anthony I. Bentley Jr. President Udall's wife, Risa Larson Udall, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a counselor in the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple presidency and has previously served as stake mission president, district Young Men president, bishop and high councilor. A retired high school administrator, he was born in Cedar City, Utah, to Raymond Keith and Gwendolyn Vivian Pace Udall.

Sister Udall serves as an assistant to the matron of the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple, and has previously served as a district Relief Society president, ward Relief Society president's counselor, ward Young Women president and ward organist. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Rolf Lamport and Jeanne Pauline Joyce Larson.
