Two new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons.
Robert Larsen Bray, 70, Huntsville 1st Ward, College Station Texas Stake, called as president of the Lubbock Texas Temple, succeeding President E. Dale Cluff. President Bray's wife, Maryann Savage Bray, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a senior couple missionary in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. He has served as president of the Tennessee Nashville Mission, stake president, stake president's counselor, bishop, branch president, bishop's counselor, and temple ordinance worker. A retired chief technology officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, he was born in Nevada City, California, to Vern Bohne and Myrl Hall Bray.

Sister Bray serves with her husband as a senior couple missionary in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. She also served with her husband as he presided over the Tennessee Nashville Mission. She has served as a stake and ward Relief Society president, branch Relief Society president's counselor, ward Young Women president's counselor, and as a temple ordinance worker. She was born in Leeds, Utah, to Ross Cooper and Ellen Jones Savage.
Reynaldo Laguna Cuyong, 71, Cugman Ward, Cagayan de Oro Philippines East Stake, called as president of the Manila Philippines Temple, succeeding President Moises M. Mabunga Jr. President Cuyong's wife, Virginia Venus Teoppe Dela Victoria Cuyong, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a counselor in the Cebu City Philippines Temple. He previously served as an Area Seventy, stake president, district president, stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop, and as a Public Affairs senior couple missionary. A retired banana plantation owner, he was born in Dueñas, Iloilo, Philippines, to Isidoro Bolivar and Laguna Herminia Espino Cuyong.

Sister Cuyong serves as an assistant to the matron of the Cebu City Philippines Temple. She has served as district Young Women president, stake and ward Relief Society president's counselor, and as a public affairs senior couple missionary. She was born in Jolo, Sulu, Philippines, to Eutiquio Sabellano and Daniela Austero Teoppe Dela Victoria.
