New Mission Presidents

Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1.

Curtis Edward Anderson, 63, and Marsha Ann Rasmussen Anderson, five children, Gunnison 1st Ward, Gunnison Utah Stake. Brother Anderson serves as a Scout committee chairman and is a former stake president, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, Aaronic Priesthood adviser and missionary in the Scotland Mission. Retailer and business owner/manager. Born in Gunnison, Utah, to Edward Nolan and Doreen Sorensen Anderson.

Sister Anderson is a former counselor in a Relief Society presidency, counselor in a Young Women presidency, Primary secretary, Sunday School teacher, Primary music leader and Young Women adviser. Born in Gunnison, Utah, to Moyle Lauritz and Helen Cox Rasmussen.

Lawrence Todd Budge, 52, and Lori Capener Budge, six children, Lone Hollow Ward, Sandy Utah Crescent Stake. Brother Budge serves as a counselor in a bishopric and is a former stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, stake executive secretary, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. Former President and CEO of Tokyo Star Bank. Born in Pittsburg, Calif., to Lowell Jensen and Deanna Kay Price Budge.

Sister Budge serves as a ward choir director and as a stake Young Women music director and is a former Young Women president, Young Women adviser, counselor in a Relief Society presidency, family relations instructor, seminary teacher, temple ordinance worker and Primary music leader. Born in Cedar City, Utah, to Harold Rigby and M. Karrol Capener.

Kenneth Troy Hall, 43, and Dianna McConkie Hall, four children, Arrowhead Ranch Ward, Glendale Arizona North Stake. Brother Hall serves as a gospel doctrine teacher and as a stake strengthening marriage instructor and is a former stake mission president, stake Young Men president, high councilor, bishop, high priest group leader and missionary in the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission. Former senior vice president, PetSmart, Inc. Born in Richland, Wash., to Troy Edward and Lucille Yancey Hall.

Sister Hall serves as a Relief Society president and as a stake strengthening marriage instructor and is a former counselor in a Relief Society presidency, counselor in a Primary presidency, institute teacher and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., to Stanford Smith and Kathleen Ann Sorensen McConkie.

Sister Nicholas serves as a temple ordinance worker and as a Family Services missionary and is a former Relief Society president, Relief Society teacher, teacher development instructor and organist. Born in Tremonton, Utah, to Emron Hopkins and Amy Wright.

Sister Riggs serves as emergency preparedness chair and is a former counselor in a Relief Society presidency, Sunday School teacher, ward missionary and Primary teacher. Born in Phoenix, Ariz., to Joe Kenneth and Patricia Elaine Chatham Sullivan South.

Sister Wirthlin serves as a Young Women adviser and is a former stake Young Women president, secretary to a stake patriarch, ward Young Women president, counselor in a Relief Society presidency, counselor in a Primary presidency and Cub Scout leader. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Eldred Joseph and Marilyn Pocock Wilde.
