Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Their mission assignments will be announced later.

Candido Fortuna Cabrera, 43, and Rosa Damaris Rosario Fortuna, three children, Gazcue Ward, Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Stake. Brother Fortuna is a counselor in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission and is a former stake president, bishop and missionary in the Dominican Republic Santiago Mission. Leon Arthur Holmes, 58, and Elizabeth Anne Holmes, five children, Rynfield Ward, Benoni South Africa Stake. Brother Holmes serves as a Sunday School teacher and is a former national public affairs director, stake president and counselor, stake mission president and bishop. Ralph Burdette Jordan III, 58, and Claudia Lynn Pathe Jordan, five children, Visalia 6th Ward, Visalia California Stake.
