SALT LAKE CITY
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has recorded nearly 200 albums over the past 100 years. These include five gold records, two platinum records and a Grammy.
Since 2002, some 39 of those releases have been on the choir's own recording label, including its latest, "Glory."
The album contains 14 new recordings, including Beethoven's "Ode to Joy," "The Holy City," and "Nella Fantasia."
In contrast to its last release, "Heavensong," which was contemplative, the new album is rousing and powerful.
Other selections include "Hymn of Praise," "Pilgrim," "Look to the Day," "Wonder" from "Dances to Life," and "My House" from "Peter Pan."
