New mission presidents

Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service about July 1.

Julius Jonah Flores Barrientos, 49, and Maria Lourdes Naredo Jornacion Barrientos, Philippines Laoag Mission; Deparo Ward, Novaliches Philippines Stake. Brother Barrientos is a former counselor in the Philippines Missionary Training Center, counselor in the Philippines Cagayan de Oro Mission, stake president and counselor, bishop, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Philippines Manila Mission. Institute director, Seminaries and Institutes. Born in Cotabato City, Philippines, to Antonio Abellon and Estrella Fe Barroquiña Flores Barrientos.

Sister Barrientos served with her husband at the Philippines MTC as a counselor in the Relief Society and is a former counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, stake public affairs director, counselor in stake and ward Relief Society presidencies, Young Women president, institute teacher and missionary in the Philippines Davao Mission. Born in Manila, Philippines, to Luis Estrellado and Luwalhati Castillo Naredo Jornacion.

Hubermann Bien-Aimé, 45, and Maggy Léger Bien-Aimé, one child, Haiti Port-au-Prince Mission; Delmas Ward, Port-au-Prince Haiti North Stake. Brother Bien-Aimé is an assistant area auditor and a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, institute teacher and missionary in the Haiti Port-au-Prince Mission. Bishops' storehouse manager. Born in Bassin Mangnan, Gonaives, Artibonite Haiti, to Anales and Christianne Brésil Bien-Aimé.

Sister Bien-Aimé, a stake Relief Society president, is a former counselor in a stake Primary presidency, Young Women president and missionary in the Haiti Port-au-Prince Mission. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Roger and Mirreille Borgella Léger.

Marvin Tanner Brinkerhoff, 64, and Cailynn Gailey Brinkerhoff, six children, Idaho Pocatello Mission; Five Oaks Ward, Cedar Mill Oregon Stake. Elder Brinkerhoff, an Area Seventy, is a former stake president, stake Young Men president, high councilor, bishop and missionary in the Southern Far East Misson. Retired director, internal audit, CF/CNF Transportation. Born in Richfield, Utah, to Wilford Stanley and Hilma Tanner Brinkerhoff.

Sister Brinkerhoff, a Primary music specialist and temple ordinance worker, is a former counselor in stake and ward Relief Society presidencies, Young Women music director, Young Women adviser, ward music chairman and Primary music leader. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Blain S and Opal Lambert Gailey.

Suliasi Vea Kaufusi, 60, and Peggy Kula Moala Similai Kaufusi, five children, Papua New Guinea Port Moresby Mission; Nuku'alofa 13th Ward, Nuku'alofa Tonga Harbour Stake. Brother Kaufusi, a counselor in the Tonga Nuku'alofa Mission, is a former stake president and counselor, high councilor, counselor in a bishopric, high priest group leader, temple preparation teacher and missionary in the Tonga Mission. Sister Kaufusi, a stake Relief Society president, is a former stake Primary president, stake Relief Society secretary, ward Relief Society president and teacher and missionary in the Tonga Mission. Born in Hihifo, Niuatoputapu, Tonga, to Sione Moala and 'Ana 'Atu Veleveni 'Anau Similai.

Daniel Stanley Mehr II, 57, and Rebecca Sue Mehr, six children, West Indies Mission; Highland 23rd Ward, Highland Utah West Stake. Brother Mehr, a Sunday School teacher, is a former public affairs missionary in the Caribbean Area, stake Young Men president, high councilor, bishop, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Argentina North Mission. Retired businessman. Born in Palo Alto, Calif., to Daniel Stanley and Kathryn Carol Mehr.

Sister Mehr, a Sunday School teacher, is a former public affairs missionary, member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Young Women president, Primary and Relief Society teacher and missionary in the France Bordeaux Mission. Born in Ames, Iowa, to Jay Lloyd and Linda Jo Lewton Olpin.

Mark Leonard Pace, 55, and Anne Marie Langeland Pace, seven children, Spain Barcelona Mission; Holladay 14th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay South Stake. Brother Pace is a former counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, Young Men president, Scoutmaster and missionary in the Spain Madrid Mission. President, Boyer Hill Military Housing. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Lorin Nelson and Marylynn Haymore Pace.

Sister Pace, a ward organist and Primary music leader, is a former counselor in a stake Primary presidency, counselor in a Relief Society presidency, Primary president and Young Women adviser. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John and Edna Fluge Langeland.

Keith Ray Reber, 58, and Stephanie Kay Millett Reber, five children, Brazil Cuiaba Mission; Morningside 1st Ward, St. George Utah Morningside Stake. Brother Reber, a counselor in a YSA ward bishopric, is a former stake president and counselor, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, Young Men president, elders quorum president, Varsity Scout leader and missionary in the Brazil Porto Alegre South Mission. Born in St. George, Utah, to Rumell Louis and Emma Dessie McAllister Reber.
