Five new temple presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.
Donald Wando Atkinson, 67, Willow Canyon 7th Ward, Sandy Utah East Stake, called as president of the Oaxaca Mexico Temple, succeeding President Adolfo Ávalos Rico. President Atkinson's wife, Cathy Marie Ketchum Atkinson, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a counselor in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission. He has served as president of the Mexico Mexico City North Mission, president of the Argentina Missionary Training Center, Utah North Area assistant, area priesthood adviser to Hispanic single adults, and as a stake president's counselor. The Chief Executive Officer of ClearPlay, Inc., he was born in Glendale, California, to Wando Elmer and Vaun Atkinson.Sister Atkinson currently serves with her husband in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission presidency. She served with her husband as he presided over the Mexico Mexico City North Mission and the Argentina Missionary Training Center. She has served in the Utah North Hispanic initiative, as a ward Relief Society president, in a stake and ward Relief Society presidency, and in a ward Young Women presidency. She was born in Oakland, California, to Robert Louis and Thelma Eileen Ketchum.

William Allan Burk, 62, Salem 10th Ward, Salem Utah West Stake, called as president of the Guatemala City Guatemala Temple, succeeding President Clate W. Mask. President Burk's wife, Patricia May Southward Burk, will serve as temple matron. He has served as first and second counselor in the Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Temple, South America South Area executive secretary, stake president, district president, and bishop. A retired special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, he was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Ural Morris and Maria Cristina Burk Sr.
Sister Burk has served as an assistant to the matron of the Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Temple, assistant area executive secretary, ward Relief Society president, and in a stake and ward Primary presidency. She was born in San Francisco, California, to Harry Benjamin and Grace Alice Behnke Southward.

George Steven Grimshaw, 69, Gunnison 1st Ward, Gunnison Utah Stake, called as president of the Manti Utah Temple, succeeding President Ed J. Pinegar. President Grimshaw's wife, Carla Price Grimshaw, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a temple sealer, patriarch, and as a prison system religious volunteer. He has served as a stake president's counselor and as a bishop. A retired state government employee, he was born in Enoch, Utah, to George D and Elizabeth Smith Grimshaw.
Sister Grimshaw serves as a temple ordinance worker, patriarch's scribe, and prison system religious volunteer. She has served as a ward Relief Society president, and as a counselor in a ward Young Women and Primary presidency. She was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Don Carlos and Maxine Woolstenhulme Price Jr.

Don Ray Hansen, 65, Stillwater 1st Ward, Stillwater Oklahoma Stake, called as president of the Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple, succeeding President Michael L. Southward. President Hansen's wife, Jan Booth Hansen, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a sealer in the Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple. He has served as a stake president, stake president's counselor, and bishop's counselor. A professor of accounting at Oklahoma State University, he was born in Price, Utah, to Joseph and Leola May Blalack Hansen.
Sister Hansen serves as a ward librarian and temple ordinance worker. She has served as a ward Relief Society president and early morning seminary teacher. She was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Kenneth Stephen and Neta Andresen Hansen Booth.

Luc Salm, 69, Lemoyne Ward, Longueuil Québec Stake, called as president of the Montreal Quebec Temple, succeeding President David B. Galbraith. President Salm's wife, Marie-France Gabrielle LeBras Salm, will serve as temple matron. He serves as the first counselor in the Montreal Quebec Temple presidency. He has served as patriarch, bishop, high councilor, and branch president. The retired president of Benjel Chemist Consultants, Inc., he was born in Gaillac, Tarn, France, to Gottfried and Bertha Martha Jacottet Salm.
Sister Salm serves as an assistant to the matron of the Montreal Quebec Temple. She has served as a patriarch's scribe, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, and stake and ward choir director. She was born in Rennes, France, to Henri Marie and Gabrielle Alphonsine Le Bras.
