TIJUANA, MEXICO
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Tijuana Mexico Temple will be held Aug. 18 at 9 a.m., the Temple Department announced this week.
The ceremony will be broadcast via satellite to stake centers in the temple district. The temple district comprises 10 stakes and one mission, with a total membership of 31,206.
President Thomas S. Monson announced the temple at general conference in October 2010.
This will be the Church's 13th temple in Mexico.
