The Tegucigalpa Temple is the 141st operating temple of the Church worldwide and the sixth in Central America. It serves approximately 233,000 Latter-day Saints members in Honduras and Nicaragua. The other five temples in Central America are located in San Salvador, El Salvador; San José, Costa Rica; Quetzaltenango, Guatemala; Panama City, Panama; and Guatemala City, Guatemala.
