Four new temple presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.
Hugo Boren, 70, Pleasant View 5th Ward, Provo Utah Sharon East Stake, called as president of the Panamá City Panamá Temple, succeeding President D. Chad Richardson. President Boren's wife, Camille Christensen Boren, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a stake patriarch. He has served as president of the Panamá Panamá City Mission, stake president's counselor, bishop, high councilor and temple ordinance worker. A retired financial advisor, he was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Samuel and Clara Angela Lorenzi Boren.
Sister Boren serves as a ward Relief Society committee member. She served with her husband as he presided over the Panamá Panamá City Mission. She has served as a ward Relief Society president, in a ward Primary presidency and as a visiting teaching coordinator. She was born in Richfield, Utah, to Alten and Alta Wintch Christensen.
Garry Russell Flake, 70, Lakeview Ward, Centerville Utah North Stake, called as president of the Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Temple, succeeding President Larry K. Bair. President Flake's wife, Janet Hamilton Flake, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a Church-service missionary in Church Humanitarian Services. He has served as president of the Honduras San Pedro Sula and Mexico Monterrey South Missions, bishop, high councilor and stake executive secretary. Retired director of LDS Charities and Humanitarian Services, he was born in Snowflake, Ariz., to Bruce Merlin and Irene Stratton Flake.

She has served as a stake and ward Relief Society president, in a ward Young Women presidency and in a ward Primary presidency. She was born in Tremonton, Utah, to Melvin Spencer and Alice Jenkins Hamilton.
Elder Jay E. Jensen, 71, Manila 2nd Ward, Pleasant Grove Utah Manila Stake, called as president of the Cochabamba Bolivia Temple, succeeding President Lee W. Crayk. President Jensen's wife, Lona Lee Child Jensen, will serve as temple matron. He serves as stake Sunday School president and Sunday School teacher. An emeritus General Authority, he has served as an Area Seventy, president of the Colombia Cali Mission, in a stake presidency and as a bishop. Retired from the Church Curriculum Department, he was born in Payson, Utah, to Ruel W. and Ethel Josepha Otte Jensen.

Steven Howard Pond, 69, Longview 1st Ward, Longview Washington Stake, called as president of the Portland Oregon Temple, succeeding President Myron G. Child. President Pond's wife, Karen Diane Burgoyne Pond, will serve as temple matron. He serves as multi-stake public affairs co-director and temple ordinance worker. He has served as president of the France Paris Mission, Area Seventy, regional representative, stake president and bishop. A retired attorney, he was born in Taft, Calif., to Howard Martin and Kathryn Griffin Pond.
