Two new temple presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.
Oscar Bernardo García García, 60, Cimatario Ward, Querétaro Mexico El Sol Stake, called as president of the Mérida Mexico Temple, succeeding President Zeniff Mejía Mora. President García's wife, Rosa María Castorena de García, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a stake Sunday School president. He has served as a bishop, high councilor and branch president. A retired seminary and institute teacher for the Church Education System, he was born in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, to José Isabel García Domínguez and María Estela García García.
Sister García serves as a stake family history consultant. She has served as a stake and ward Primary president, ward Relief Society president and institute teacher. She was born in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico, to José Pablo Castorena Aguilera and Gloria Antonieta Juárez Medellín.

Guillermo Mario Perotti, 74, Falling Waters (Spanish) Branch, Martinsburg West Virginia Stake, called as president of the Lima Peru Temple, succeeding President Robert W. Lees. President Perotti's wife, Augusta Marina Ruíz Luque de Perotti, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a high priests group leader. He has served as a regional representative, stake president, district president's counselor, branch president and sealer in the Lima Peru Temple. A retired business owner, he was born in Lima, Peru, to Juan Antonio Perotti and Alicia Baumann de Metz.
Sister Perotti serves as a branch Relief Society president. She has served as a stake and ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president and ward Primary president. She was born in Lima, Peru, to Juan Roberto Ruiz Navarro and María Augusta Luque Calvo.
