The Church released a statement March 17 that 152 missionaries who are not Venezuelan citizens will be transferred to other missions in South America due to unrest in Venezuela.
“Venezuelan missionaries are in frequent communication with their mission presidents, and every effort is being made to keep them safe,” according to the statement.
