Eight new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.
Alberto Andis Álvarez Mosquera, 54, and Aurora María Rojas de Álvarez, three children, San Jacinto Ward, Maracaibo Venezuela Stake: Venezuela Barcelona Mission, succeeding President Juan C. Chacín Nava and Sister Ingrid Prada de Chacín. Brother Álvarez serves in a mission presidency and is a former bishop, stake president and missionary in the Venezuela Caracas Mission. Michael Dahl Brown, 55, and Janet Frankie Nowers Brown, four children, Bluffdale 6th Ward, Bluffdale Utah Stake: Ohio Cleveland Mission, succeeding President Michael L. Vellinga and Sister Pamela Vellinga.
