PROVO, UTAH
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Brigham Young University has an immediate need to fill a continuing-status-track faculty position in structural engineering and is also interested in identifying potential candidates for future positions in environmental, geotechnical, transportation, and water resources engineering.
An earned doctorate in civil engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates must have a robust research focus, excellent teaching skills, and a strong commitment to BYU and its mission.
The department anticipates filling the position at the assistant or associate professor rank. BYU, an equal opportunity employer, requires all faculty to observe the university’s honor code and dress and grooming standards.
Additional information and application instructions are available at yjobs.byu.edu. For full consideration, applications must be received by Nov. 15, 2016.
